- Consultant - Report Writing Specialist
- to create a comprehensive evaluation report for a health promotion program. This role is a remote, 9-month contract, with most of the work concentrated between April and June 2024. The final deliverable will showcase program outcomes, including case studies and data analysis, and will cater to funders, community stakeholders, and internal leadership.
- Pay rate
- 8000 paid over 9 months in 2-3 parts.
- Key Responsibilities
- Write a high-quality evaluation report that :
- Highlights the program's impact.
- Includes data analysis and engaging case studies.
- Is tailored to the needs of funders, community members, and internal leadership.
- Conduct 5 interviews with program participants to produce compelling case studies (approximately half-page each).
- Collaborate with an external photographer or provide guidance for images to accompany the report.
- Digest and present data from trackers, surveys, and existing documents in an accessible and visually appealing way.
- Work independently while maintaining regular communication with the project team.
- Key Deliverables
- A professionally written evaluation report delivered in draft and final formats by June 2024.
- A report design that incorporates a culturally appropriate Somali aesthetic.
- Accurate data analysis and presentation.
- 5 well-written and engaging case studies supported by visual content.

- Meet established deadlines for draft and final report submissions.

- Deliver a polished report requiring mínimal edits.

- Ensure the report reflects and respects Somali cultural values and experiences.

- Effectively collaborate with the team, interviewees, and community members.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum
- 5 years of experience
- in report writing or evaluation at a graduate level, or a
- Master's degree
- in evaluation, health promotion, or communication.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality written reports, including data analysis and case studies.
- Experience working with culturally diverse communities, particularly Somali, African, or Ethiopian populations.
- Basic design skills or experience collaborating with designers.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
