You will be a critical member of the O&G Team and contribute to a progressive service.It is expected that you are a registered medical practitioner and have at least three years' post graduate experience in public hospital service.You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact sensitively and holistically with women experiencing complex pain.

You will be required to work as a member of the multidisciplinary team with proven experience to develop and maintain credible, respectful and collaborative professional relationships.

You will also bring specialised clinical capabilities to contribute to research opportunities within this field and cultivate a positive workplace culture.Senior Career Medical Officer Obs and Gynae$225,594 to $242,117 base salary + 11.5% superannuation + applicable allowancesTo be successful in this position, it is expected that the successful candidate will have the following attributes : Relevant registration or be eligible for registration as a medical practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Career Medical Officer or equivalentProven performance in both undergraduate and postgraduate general practice education is mandatory.The successful applicant will need to be available for occasional weekend and after-hours work.As a Senior Career Medical Officer, you will be a collaborative clinical specialist with demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional and safe healthcare.

You will also bring specialised clinical capabilities to contribute to research opportunities within this field and cultivate a positive workplace culture.DutiesUnder limited direction of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Medical Unit Director you will perform the following roles : Provide specialised Obstetrics and Gynaecology services within a multidisciplinary gynaecological oncology service that spans outpatient clinics and provide inpatient care for patients admitted.Teach and supervise Obstetrics and Gynaecology trainees and Medical students where necessary.Liaise and collaborate with medical practitioners, voluntary and government agencies concerned with Obstetrics and Gynaecology.Participate in clinical governance and quality and safety activities and as a medical representative of the Division as required.Engage in research, including educational research related to the discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and contribute to the research output of the Unit.Undertake other duties appropriate to this level of classification which contribute to the operation of the organisation.Note : Career Medical Officer Positions are supervised by a Staff Specialist.The Location : Very "outdoor" and "environmentally" focused and truly unique in that you have this CBD with excellent work opportunities literally set amongst stunning bush land that is always only a 5 min walk away from anywhere.
