Occupational Therapist - Grade 1

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and enthusiastic Grade 1 Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre. If you have a passion for rehabilitation, we would love to hear from you!

As an Occupational Therapist your responsibilities will include :

• Provision of comprehensive Occupational Therapy rehabilitation services across our inpatient and / or outpatient programs
• Assessing, providing and evaluating clinical care, in collaboration with patients / families and the multidisciplinary team, to achieve identified rehabilitation goals
• A commitment to ongoing learning via participation in quality improvement initiatives, clinical supervision and professional development programs

The centre offers a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary team servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.

Selection Criteria :

• Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
• Current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience in rehabilitation (as a student or clinician) desirable
• Current drivers licence essential
