With extraordinary dining options, including Sokyo, BLACK Bar and Grill, Cucina Porto and our vibrant Sports Bar where the action is live and loud, we are dedicated to delivering the ultimate entertainment, hospitality, and dining experiences for all.The Regulatory Manager, Strategic Projects, reporting to Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs, supports The Star Sydney's transition to carded and cashless gaming by managing various regulatory change requests and coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement the necessary technology and achieve key project milestones.This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for our Risk and Compliance team.A few of your responsibilitiesDevelop a Regulatory Engagement Plan to support the successful regulatory engagementWork with the Casino 2.0 project to develop a comprehensive tracker of all regulatory submissions, applications, notifications or communications required to be made by The Star SydneyDevelop a timeline for each regulator submissionSupport the business to prepare and submit each regulator submission / notice to a professional standard to obtain regulatory approvalSupport the Senior Manager Regulatory Affairs and Regulatory Affairs teams in interactions with the regulators as well as with other business units within The Star SydneyWhat we are looking forAt least 5 years' experience in project based work or legal environmentProven ability to drive accountability and deliver resultsAbility to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlinesExperience in a highly regulatory environment preferably within the Casino industry desirableAbout youYou will have a background in regulatory management, with a strong understanding of—or a keen interest in—the gaming industry and its regulatory frameworks.
