Hastings is currently focused on the delivery of the Yangibana Project located in the Gascoyne and Pilbara regions of Western Australia.

• About the Position

Reporting to the Site Services Superintendent and the Operational Readiness Manager, the Stores Supervisor will oversee and manage the day-to-day store operations by monitoring inventory, receiving and storing of goods, delivery and other schedules, providing relevant reports, and distributing materials and tools.

The Stores Supervisor will have Supervisor responsibilities with a Store Person reporting directly to this position.

• Your responsibilities
• Oversees receipt and verification of incoming shipments; ensures materials are unloaded, stored, and verified according to policy
• Ensures that an accurate inventory record of finished goods is maintained in accordance with established procedures
• Conducts regular and ad-hoc inventory checks
• Assigns jobs and projects to staff to ensure that deadlines are met safely and accurately
• Communicates results of inventory reviews to manager; collaborates with manager to schedule future shipments

• About you

We are seeking a self-starter who has :

• Mining Store Operations, processes and systems preferably gained in Mining environment
• Computer skills with experience operating Pronto or similar ERP system for data entry and purchasing activities
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing and managing the day-to-day store operations
• Inventory management including receiving, storing of goods plus delivery schedules
• Distribution of materials and tools
• Create and provide reports
• Strong professional writing, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in the full MS Office suite.
• Detail-oriented person who is agile in response to change.
• Proactive and collaborative in their problem solving.
• Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and self-starter
