The Role
As the HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to the business, aligning HR initiatives with operational priorities. You’ll lead end-to-end HR support across employee relations, workforce planning, learning and development, WHS, and culture initiatives—while championing compliance, performance, and people-first solutions.
This is a true generalist HRBP role, ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on operational delivery with strategic influence in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on complex employee relations matters and enterprise agreement compliance
- Partner with leaders to drive engagement, retention, and workforce performance
- Lead learning and development plans tailored to property needs
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment and proactive talent pooling
- Drive WHS initiatives and coordinate return-to-work and injury management
- Use HR data and reporting to shape decision-making
- Champion internal communication and a culture aligned to “The Stamford Way”
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related fieldMinimum 5 years’ experience in progressive HR roles, with at least 2 in an HRBP or consultative capacityStrong working knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work, and modern awards / enterprise agreementsPrevious experience in hospitality, tourism, or service-led multi-site environmentsOutstanding interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, and problem-solving capabilityConfident in influencing, coaching, and supporting leaders across departmentsExperience using HRIS platforms (e.g., Zambion), LMS tools, and reporting dashboardsWhy Join Stamford?
