- What will you be doing?
- Providing companionship and dementia care
- Assisting people to perform important daily activities
- Facilitating daily personal hygiene and dressing tasks
- Performing home based tasks such as food preparation and housework
- Undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping and taking clients to appointments and group activities
Most importantly, you should possess the ability to participate in activities and hobbies with our valued clients providing them the opportunity to socialise, experience new things, improve their physical health and relieve stress. By getting to know our clients individually, you will help them engage in rewarding activities and discussions that interest them, enhance their wellbeing and self-esteem, and increase their sense of self-worth.
- Skills and requirements
- Applicants MUST have a Certificate III in Aged Care
- Excellent communication skills and genuine customer service
- The right to work in Australia
- Previous experience as a support worker in the Aged Care and / or Disability Sector
- Current First Aid Certificate
- CPR / BLS Certificate
- Manual Handling Certificate
- National Criminal Clearance Check conducted within the last 3 months
- NDIS Worker Screening (if working with NDIS participants)
- Evidence of Flu and COVID vaccinations
- Current Australian Drivers Licence and a reliable, comprehensively insured motor vehicle
- Owns reliable smartphone

- Hourly rate
- 36-$39 / hr, based on experience and qualifications. Penalty rates also apply. Pay rates are regularly reviewed to ensure fairness and satisfaction is maintained.
