Job descriptionAbove market salary with an hourly rate of $35 - $52 per hour (based on experience), plus super, overtime, shift penalties and tool allowance Salary packaging, novated leasing, health insurance discounts, employee assistance program and exclusive discounts on retail, dining, travel, entertainment, leisure, accommodation and more Flexible work arrangements ( 19 day over 4 weeks, 9 day fortnight, 4 day week (with ½ day option) Employee referral bonus program - $1,000 Scania OEM Training program giving you the opportunity to work anywhere in the world with Scania Access to compete in the prestigious Scania Global Top Team competition offering generous cash (EUR) prizes Continuous learning pathways for you to progress into different parts of the company including upskilling for technicians; professional development; and leadership development As a Scania Heavy Vehicle Technician based in Prestons you’ll work with our talented team of technicians, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction As an original equipment manufacturer (OEM), you’ll work with the highest quality products in the market. Use state of the art mechanical diagnosis. Not just servicing vehicles, you will complete engine rebuilds, servicing of vehicles and equipment as well as engine, clutch, gear box and other component rebuilds. All this in a Scania owned workshop Preferred Certificate III HV Diesel Technician qualification Experience working as an HV Technician You are safety focused and take pride in quality workmanship and doing things right You thrive on customer satisfaction and contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment An Australian / New Zealand citizen, a permanent resident or hold valid working rights.
