  • About the role

    • We are seeking a self-motivated, fast, and accurate Accounts Officer to join our Finance Team to undertake the administration of accounts payable.

    This is a great opportunity if you want a full-time, office-based role where you will be working in a small supportive team.

    Key responsibilities include :

  • Accurately entering invoices into Vista by Viewpoint within service level agreed timeframes;
  • Ensuring all invoices are correctly authorised, including pricing and cost codes;
  • Preparing and reconciling supplier statements;
  • Answering supplier queries;
  • Assisting the Accounts Payable Supervisor as required.
  • About you

    • Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is highly organised, can work autonomously with urgency, has keen attention to detail, and has the ability to process a high volume of invoices, efficiently and precisely.

    If you already have experience in a similar position in civil construction, this will be highly regarded.

  • Whatever your background, you will need to have
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts payable;
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities;
  • And be an Australian citizen / permanent resident or have a current visa allowing you the right to work in Australia.
