You'll support the Supervisor by maintaining a productive, safe, and well-organised worksite while ensuring tasks are delivered to program and spec.You'll be the go-to on the ground — supporting plan interpretation, coordinating with subcontractors, identifying issues early, and setting the pace for your crew.
With your guidance and leadership, you'll help bring a complex, sustainability-led infrastructure project to life.You will be trusted with : Leading day-to-day on-site works including earthworks, trenching, drainage and utilitiesOverseeing labourers and plant operators to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficientlyReading and interpreting basic plans and scopes with guidance from supervisorsMonitoring work quality and supporting compliance with SWMS and safety proceduresWorking with subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and site logisticsMaintaining a clean, organised, and safe work area for all team membersReporting progress, risks, or incidents promptly to supervisorsProviding input to improve efficiency, solve issues, and support program deliveryWhat's In Your Toolbox?3 - 5 years' experience in civil construction, ideally with earthworks or drainageProven ability to lead small teams and get the job done safelyWhite Card and Class C Driver's Licence (HR desirable)Tickets for plant / machineryBasic understanding of plans, scopes, and site documentationStrong work ethic, clear communicator, and committed to high-quality outcomesYou're a hands-on leader with a strong work ethic, clear communication style, and a focus on getting the job done safely and efficiently.
