Maintenance Fitter and Turner

If YES, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter and Turner to join our small but loyal and highly skilled team. Tallangatta Meat Processors has a long and proud history in the Australian Meat Industry, family owned and operated for over 47 years.

The role of the Maintenance Fitter is responsible for performing the maintenance, modification, repair, servicing, and inspection requirements of our meat processing facility. The role is accountable to the Maintenance Manager and takes direction on day-to-day issues. While this role is for a single trade Tradesperson, we are particularly interested in applicants that have a second skillset such as welding, plumbing, heavy equipment operating, or building.

Key Responsibilities

• Pursuing the continuous improvement of our plant equipment and systems
• Fault finding and troubleshooting of plant equipment repairs
• Applying a planned and preventative approach to maintenance
• Having a clear focus on quality and safety
