  • ISD oversees a $1.9 billion annual infrastructure portfolio. The planning and management of this portfolio is crucial to the smooth delivery of a high volume of projects to support the education system across the state, including significant investments in new schools, new school buildings to accommodate future growth, and the renewal, refurbishment and maintenance of existing facilities.The Strategic Asset Management Team, within Portfolio Planning, is responsible for the delivery of the department's priority asset management actions including; improving strategic asset management and capability across the division. The Team's focus is on implementing a proactive approach to manage existing infrastructure assets including contemporary project, program and portfolio management practices. This includes developing a proactive, data-driven strategic asset management approach and building awareness of best practice asset managementYou will work for an organisation that values its people and promotes leadership and innovation.     • About the Role
    • Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
    • Supporting the Manager, Strategic Asset Management to manage, coordinate and implement complex and time constrained deliverables to achieve the Department's asset management objectives.
    • Working with complex asset and financial datasets to yield strategic insights across the Department's large infrastructure portfolio leveraging business intelligence solutions like SAP, PowerBI and EXCEL.
    • Mentoring and supporting other members of the Strategic Asset Management Team to develop and grow to their full potential.
    • Participating in a culture of continuous improvement by positively contributing and embracing new ideas and innovative ways of working.
    • Managing and supporting asset management programs such as Asset Lifecycle Condition Assessments (ALCAs) and renewal.
    • Highly desirable skills and experience;
    • Prior experience in construction, asset management and data analysis is beneficial.
