Job descriptionAct as a solution architect on projects, owning the data integration solution from end to end Conduct and lead white-boarding sessions, workshops, design sessions, and project meetings building strong client relations Lead analysis, architecture, design, and development of cloud and on-prem data warehouse and business intelligence solutions Lead in the creation / enhancement of data platform solutions (Data Marts, Cubes) to facilitate decision-making Collaborate with clients' Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and Reporting teams to standardize reporting and analytics implementation(s) across a variety of business teams / users / constituents Design and develop Data Integration solutions (ETL, ELT, Data Governance, MDM) Collaborate closely with and influence business consulting staff and leaders as part of multi-disciplinary teams to assess opportunities and technical solutions for Bain clients across a variety of sectors Develop reusable frameworks for solving common data integration needs Establish and implement state-of-art solutions and best practices, reflecting the latest trends and evolving industry standards Collaborate with leaders of other teams to ensure Bain and AAG are bringing the optimal combination of expertise to deliver results for our clients Qualifications 7 + years' experience in data acquisition, integration, transformation, and wrangling of both structured and unstructured data with a leading company Experience contributing to pre-sales activities, including participating in business development presentations, contributing to proposals, and presenting demos Proven passion for analytics and Business Intelligence and the ability to communicate its value as a strategic business advantage Track record of learning new technologies related to data integration and analytics Agile development methodology experience, including leading and training Agile teams Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling, specifically building and understanding star schema-based data marts Familiarity with Business Visualization toolkits (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview, Looker etc.) Strong SQL expertise and strong data architecture, warehousing and dimensional modeling experience Strong experience with ETL / ELT design and implementations in the context of large and complex datasets, especially in the context of Data Science pipeline development Demonstrated cloud experience with a variety of relational database and data warehousing technology (e.g. AWS Redshift, Athena, RDS, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Snowflake) Demonstrated experience with big data processing systems and distributed computing technology (e.g. Databricks, Spark, Sagemaker, Kafka, etc.) Demonstrated experience

Department Overview
Bain's Advanced Analytics Group (AAG) leads the firm's advanced analytics efforts and analytical advisory for clients globally. The team helps our clients extract maximum value from their data assets, regardless of location or format. AAG applies the latest analytics techniques and tools to help generate insights that yield better & faster decisions ranging from customer experience and predictive NPS to enhanced go-to-market strategies and improved employee engagement.
Position Summary
This is an opportunity to take on a lead role in the Data Management & Visualization team of Bain's expanding Advanced Analytics Group.
- Responsibilities include
- Design and / or implement tools for data acquisition, extraction, transformation, management, and manipulation of large and complex data sets
- Design pipelines to create automated curated data sets, which are ready for analytics.
- Explore, model, mine, and experiment with data to answer critical business issues
- Work in a collaborative manner with clients' technical teams to define technical approaches to implement designed solutions, including new data architecture, data flows and integration strategies, data processes built-up, etc.
- Keep abreast of new and current data engineering trends and technologies
