Job descriptionDesign and implement GCP cloud infrastructure solutions to support Defence-grade applications. Lead or support the migration of workloads to GCP, ensuring alignment with Zero Trust Architecture and compliance with ISM, PSPF, and Essential Eight standards. Collaborate with platform, security, and data teams to build secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments. Advise on cloud strategy, toolsets, architecture blueprints, and reference models tailored for classified environments. Monitor, optimise, and continuously improve cloud platforms for performance and cost efficiency. Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning in secure and mission-critical environments. Multi-year projects, commencing over the next 6 months Work on cutting-edge secure cloud environments Access to long-term, stable and meaningful work supporting national security Canberra-based, onsite roles (some flexibility may be considered depending on project) Demonstrated experience with GCP services across IaaS, PaaS, and / or SaaS Strong background in cloud security, architecture, or engineering Minimum NV1 or NV2 clearance (essential) Experience working in highly secure, regulated, or government environments desirable Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g. ISM, PSPF) and infrastructure-as-code practices
