We invite you to express your interest in joining our team as the Clinical Review Lead – a pivotal role that will support our commitment to safe, high-quality care across the organisation.
About the Role : As the Clinical Review Lead, you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring excellence across our quality assurance, incident management, and auditing processes.
This role is responsible for :
Overseeing the organisation's incident management system, including clinical reviews and audits
Leading the response to Sentinel Events and managing Statutory Duty of Candour processes
Coordinating medicolegal matters and reporting
Providing expert guidance and education on NSQHS Standards, Aged Care Standards, and NDIS frameworks
You'll work closely with frontline staff, clinicians, and leadership to foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.
What we are looking for : Experience as a health professional and / or relevant management experience
Proven capability in managing incident systems and reviews
Strong understanding of consumer participation and person-centred care
Experience with auditing , case reviews , and the VHIMS Riskman incident reporting system
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word and Excel
A thorough understanding of confidentiality and a mature, responsible approach to work
A passion for staff engagement, particularly with clinical teams
Completion of SCV Root Cause Analysis training (or willingness to complete)
Knowledge of Open Disclosure principles and Statutory Duty of Candour IMPORTANT : Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.
