Job Description This newly created role is ideal for someone who thrives in a start-up environment and is passionate about building data systems from the ground up. You'll lead the development of PLACE's data infrastructure using the Microsoft ecosystem (Power BI, SharePoint, Forms), design evidence collection systems, and generate insights that inform strategy, improve programs, and demonstrate impact.

You'll work closely with various stakeholders to ensure data is meaningful, accessible, and actionable-supporting PLACE's mission to empower communities and drive systemic change.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and manage data systems and dashboards (Power BI, SharePoint, Forms)
  • Design and implement data collection and feedback mechanisms
  • Translate data into insights for internal teams, funders, and stakeholders
  • Collaborate on evaluations, strategic planning, and reporting
  • Support a culture of learning and evidence-based practice

The Successful Applicant

  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for building data systems from the ground up, with a proactive mindset and a creative approach to developing tools, processes, and insights that didn't previously exist
  • 6+ years' experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
  • Strong skills in Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms
  • Experience designing surveys or feedback systems (ideally in NFP or government)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into accessible insights for diverse stakeholders, from community partners to senior leadership and external funders.
  • Passion for social impact, learning, and community empowerment
  • Comfortable working independently in a small, growing team
