Inventory Controller

We are looking for an inventory controller to join one of our valued clients based in Acacia Ridge, Qld for an permanent position. The role is a Monday - Friday position standard office hours, starting immediately.

• Duties of this role
• The role carries responsibility for working with purchasing, goods inwards and Dispatch to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly
• Monitoring stock levels and procuring stock replenishment using M1
• Coordinate cycle stock takes across SBH
• Maintain Bill of Materials for all products
• Maintain standard costs and continuously improve strategic procurement
• Co-ordinate and manage the process of all goods inwards and goods outwards at SBH
• Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock holding and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy.
• Requirements
• Experience in the mining / metal fabrication industries.
• Sound knowledge of fabrication, welding and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read drawings.
• An understanding of planning and scheduling procedures.
• Computer skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be highly regarded.
• Current & valid Forklift Licence
• Salary
• 70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
