12-month non-ongoing contractCanberra BasedImmediate StartKey Responsibilities : Provide expert, evidence-informed written and oral advice to the Lead Policy Analyst to progress this NFP advocacy and representational responsibilities.Support and nurture relationships with members and key stakeholders, and work with members and key stakeholders to identify and develop policy solutions and inform decision making.Prepare high-quality, evidence-informed policy papers, submissions, position statements, correspondence, written reports, publications, and briefs, in alignment with the NFP requirements.Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of policy projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Work collaboratively with communication and program teams to ensure cohesive and effective policy messaging.Understand the complex and interconnected relationships between different and intersecting policy responsibilities across different areas of government.Represent the interests of the NFP in meetings with key stakeholders, on research project committees, and in other settings and for other purposes as agreed.Ensure compliance with governance and quality requirements, to successfully deliver policy priorities.Review outward communications from Hepatitis Australia to ensure consistency and accuracy.Perform other duties as required, commensurate with skills, knowledge, and experience.If you are interested in the role, please submit your application via the provided link.
