As a member of the Communications and Marketing team, and under the guidance of the Content Strategist, the Senior Digital Content Producer is responsible for managing the Memorial's social media platforms, including content development and ongoing performance optimisation, as well as digital marketing and projects.The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with proven experience creating, editing, and publishing diverse content for social media platforms.

They will be proactive in developing content opportunities, working with internal and external stakeholders, and able to work flexibly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while ensuring content accuracy and adherence to Memorial brand guidelines.Essential qualifications include tertiary qualifications and / or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, journalism, media, or a related field.

Experience with digital content in a museum or government environment is highly regarded.This position requires manual handling.Key duties include : Create, schedule, publish, and monitor social media content consistent with the Memorial's Brand Guidelines, Digital Engagement Strategy, and Content Strategy.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop engaging digital content strategies using analytics and evidence-based recommendations.Evaluate and optimise social media performance, demonstrating proficiency with monitoring tools and analytics reporting.Develop high-quality video and graphics, including scripting, filming, and editing for social media.Write and edit social media copy that is engaging, accurate, and consistent with Memorial branding.Note : Employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).
