About the job

We are looking for a dedicated, have a strong understanding with perishable regulations and excellent organizational skills to coordinate the transportation.

Bring your flexible, Can-Do attitude to work every day and enjoy being part of an amazing team. As well as having experience in a similar role, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Receive and process orders for the transportation of perishable goods from clients and internal stakeholders.
• Arrange transportation with carriers, airlines, or shipping lines, and negotiate rates to optimize cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines concerning the transportation of perishable goods, including but not limited to temperature control requirements, safety standards, and documentation.
• Prepare and review all necessary shipping and customs documentation, such as airway bills, bills of lading, certificates, permits, and licenses.
• Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing perishable goods to ensure they meet the required standards.
• Communicate regularly with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status and address any concerns or queries.
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with perishable shipments and proactively develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
• Identify areas for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions to optimize the perishable logistics operation.
