Lions Haven is a leading not-for-profit 121 bed Residential Aged Care Facility in Hope Island. Our modern facility, which includes a 20 bed secure wing, offers a safe and comfortable environment to ensure quality of life to our residents, staff and visitors. Residents have the freedom to enjoy life in a homelike atmosphere where families and friends are most welcome.

We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Personal Care Assistants for an immediate start in both permanent part-time and casual positions. If you have a caring and friendly nature, excellent communication skills and love to challenge yourself, we'd love to hear from you!

• Essential_
• Experience in all facets of low to high and even palliative care.
• Impeccable time management
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills through the use of information technology, written and verbal communication skills
• Capacity to identify and resolve situations autonomously and under the supervision of Registered Staff
• Ability to follow directives and adhere to procedures and protocols in place both at Lions Haven and as directed through current Australian Healthcare guidelines
• Display a positive attitude through your attendance, presentation, punctuality and reliability
• Promote the Lions Haven philosophy of providing Resident focused care which maintains their dignity, independence, individuality and freedom of choice
• Respect each Residents individual needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences when providing nursing care
• ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
• Certificate 3 in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent or have completed 1 or more year's training as an undergraduate nursing student
• Current Police Certificate / NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Current Covid-19 Vaccination including booster

All employees and visitors to Lions Haven are currently undertaking Rapid Antigen Testing before each shift / visit. PPE in accordance to current guidelines is being worn, social distancing is in place as well as elevated infection control.
