Key Accountabilities
Ensure the site is run in a safe and efficient manner reflecting Joseph Gallagher Ltd's high standards.
Maximise the commercial performance of the contract.
Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure sites have adequate resources.
Forecast and inform the team of changes, managing scope meticulously, including unplanned work or resources.
Report risks and opportunities to senior management.
Deliver work to specified quality standards without defects.
Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITPs, and waste management plans, in line with company procedures.
Maintain detailed site diaries / records and drive cost reduction by challenging the status quo.
Job Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
Experience managing Micro Tunnelling and Pipe Jacking projects within high-regulation environments in the UK.
A broad civil background is advantageous.
Proficient in NEC contracts, with experience in contract and change management.
Experience in Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, CVR production, and cost control.
Degree / HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
SMSTS certification.
Ability to challenge designs and resolve problems effectively.
Capability to manage and deliver successful projects with minimal guidance.
