We seek motivated professionals to support our strong and growing project pipeline.At REE, you will have the opportunity to apply your academic and professional knowledge to the real world and Tier 1 energy and resource clients, based at our Perth office.Our projects include : Mine waste and tailings management studiesTailings storage facility designMine site civil infrastructure designMine closure planning and designDam safety reviews and auditsGeotechnical investigations, assessments and analysis to support the above.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee and co-ordinate geotechnical field investigation programsOversee and co-ordinate geotechnical laboratory testing programsWork closely with Engineers-of-Record (EoR) on long-term operational projectsWrite technical reports, proposals, and papersDevelop geotechnical assessments and analysis capabilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clientsParticipate in National and International ConferencesEducation and LicensureDegree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (required)Be eligible for membership of Engineers Australia and either have or be working towards CPENG status (required)Skills, Experience and Qualifications1-5+ years of consulting experience operating within a geotechnical practice groupExperience with using geotechnical logging software (Tablogs, Holebase, etc)Competent in the use of GIS or CAD package / sWorking knowledge of geotechnical investigation standards and practicesStrong understanding of Health and Safety planning, processes and proceduresPast experience with geotechnical investigations at mine sitesExperience with geotechnical interpretation (i.e.
CPiET) and analysis (i.e.
Slope / W)Familiarity with dam safety guidelines including ANCOLD, GISTM, CDA and WA-DMRCivil or tailings engineering generalExperience in the GIS, CAD or Tailings Modelling software (i.e.
