The Opportunity :

Findex are currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join our dynamic payroll team.

This is an initial 12 month max-term contract with a preference to be based in Melbourne.

What will your typical week look like?

Processing of end-to-end payroll
Building strong internal relationships and responding to staff queries via email and phone
Ensuring all payroll requests from staff are approved with the required supporting documentation
Assist in running End of Month payroll reports
Assist in Superannuation lodgement and Payroll Tax Reconciliation.

Let’s talk about you!

Ideally 2-3 years of proven Payroll experience, ideally processing payroll for a large organisation

Experience with payroll practices and relevant legislation, (e.g. PAYG, SGC, salary packaging, leave and other entitlements)

Ascender Pay system experience would be advantageous (or equivalent)

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders

Be a driven self-starter who understands the ‘must have’ steps in order to complete a pay run.
