We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Manager - Retail Energy to lead our dynamic team and drive impactful change in how we support employee learning at Snowy Hydro's retail arm, Red Energy. The Role As the L&D Manager, you will lead a talented team dedicated to enhancing employee skills, knowledge, and performance across the business. This role involves collaborating closely with the Head of Talent & Capability and key stakeholders to create a comprehensive L&D strategy that identifies and addresses skill gaps, maximises training opportunities, and aligns with our strategic goals. This is a permanent full time position based in our Melbourne office.

Your key responsibilities will include : Inspire and guide a high-performing team, by providing hands-on coaching and supporting them in their professional development.Create and implement a holistic learning strategy by conducting needs assessments and managing the L&D budget to maximise impact.Oversee the design, development, and delivery of a wide range of L&D initiatives, including technical and soft skills training.Oversee a variety of learning programs that use different methodologies, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training, to meet diverse employee needs.Drive the integration of new learning technologies to enhance learner engagement and continuously improve our L&D offerings.Work with P&P business partners, subject matter experts, and external vendors to deliver training that aligns with our business objectives and makes a measurable impact.We're ideally looking for someone with : A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent experience.Proven experience in designing and delivering effective L&D programs and strategies.Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring an L&D team.A strong understanding of learning principles, instructional design, and current L&D trends.Experience in conducting needs assessments, developing training materials, and evaluating program effectiveness.Excellent facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire our employees.About our workforce : Snowy Hydro has a culture of decency and inclusion, with a commitment to the health and wellbeing of our people and a supportive environment to ensure that everyone - regardless of background - feels included and can succeed.
