A high-profile Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Solution Architect to support its Electronic Security Systems (ESS) Enhancements Program. The successful Solution Architect will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Solution Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to :

• Producing and maintaining design and solution architecture artefacts, including functional / non-functional requirements and options papers
• Contributing to project plans, risk / issue registers, and reporting for senior executive committees
• Leading implementation and testing activities aligned with change and maintenance windows
• Ensuring solution alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks and standards

The successful Solution Architect will have experience in the following :

• Supporting complex projects across multiple technology domains (software, infrastructure, security)
• Developing solution artefacts and executive-level documentation
• Engaging and managing diverse stakeholders with strong communication and negotiation skills
• A proactive, pragmatic, and integrity-driven approach to project delivery
