The filling of this vacancy is intended to constitute an affirmative measure under _Section 33 of the Australian Public Service _

    Who We Are Looking For

    Our graduates will have the opportunity to contribute to various projects and work in areas such as

    population health, community services, health services, housing, First Nations health and welfare,

    information management, and specialist technical and methodological support.

    We are seeking graduates with demonstrated experience and knowledge in :

  • Health or social sciences policy or practices or
  • Statistical analysis and data science.
  • To be successful in our generalist roles, you will have well-developed skills in one or more of the following :

    research design, data analysis and integration, interpreting and manipulating statistics, data governance and

    data management, reporting, and project management. You will also have qualifications or relevant work

    experience in one or more social and health science disciplines, including health economics, health

    information management, public health, epidemiology, humanities, sociology, psychology, and computer

    science.

    Due to the technical nature of our work, we also have some specialised roles which focus on statistical

    analysis, data science, and web content design and development. To be considered for these roles, you will

    architecture, data linkage, machine learning, metadata, coding (SAS, Python, SPSS, STATA etc.), classifications

    and terminologies, SNOMED-CT or XML data analytics, computer science, or programming.
