Experienced Underground Nipper & Truck Operators

We are currently seeking multiple experienced underground truck operators and experienced nippers. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow their career.

Experienced Underground Truck Operators :

• Conduct pre starts on equipment prior to operation.
• MT-65, Sandvik TH663i experience, beneficial.
• Understanding of underground mining development, production and services operations
• Safe, efficient and productive operation of underground equipment
• Operate the truck to best practice to minimize damage on equipment, tires, gearboxes and the vehicle in general.
• Operate underground in confined environment
• Assist in other areas of mining when required

Experienced Underground Nipper :

• Assisting Jumbo Operators with bolting and meshing as required
• Set up headings with bolt and mesh and assist service crew when possible
• Assist with face preparation and mark up and assist with installation of ground support
• Ensure sufficient consumables and supplies are available for development activities
• Ensure the safe and efficient completion of all tasks as assigned by Supervisor; and assist with various duties as required
