Are you keen to play an integral role in a project delivering real-word differences including enhancing safety in workplaces where hydrogen is being produced, stored and transported?

This project is funded by the Commonwealth Government's Trailblazer program, an industry partner and Curtin University. The industry partner is Xcalibur Multiphysics, which flies airborne geosurveys and develops instruments for airborne geosurveys.

This is an exciting opportunity to undertake academic research through an industry focused lens and will involve training from Trailblazer Fellows in industrial entrepreneurship!

We are seeking a passionate Research Associate to expand our expertise in opto-mechanics and undertake R&D associated with the development of LIDAR instrumentation based on Raman spectroscopy applied to the stand-off airborne detection of natural hydrogen gas emanating from sub-surface terrestrial sources. Additionally, there is a focus on aspects of safety in the workplace, with the ultimate goal of detecting fugitive hydrogen gas emissions.
