Chief Executive Officer – Leading Professional Indemnity Insurance Company – Melbourne or Sydney Our client, a leading provider of insurance broking, underwriting agency services, and risk management solutions, is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive our continued growth and success.

The organisation is owned by a prominent professional membership body and was built upon serving its professional members with high-quality insurance products, expert claims management, and risk prevention education.

Reporting to the Chair and Board, the CEO will focus on enhancing the long-term commercial viability of the business, with an emphasis on sustainable profitable growth, market position, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities will include : Leadership : Lead and motivate staff, ensure sound corporate governance, and succession planning. Sustainable Profitable Growth : Develop strategic initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and explore new market segments and acquisitions. Partnerships : Foster strong partnerships with capacity providers, industry bodies, and technology providers. Financial Strength : Manage investment strategies and financial reserves, ensuring compliance and sustainability. Dynamic Organisation : Respond to market changes, maintain a positive workplace culture, and drive operational efficiency. Qualifications and Experience : Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, economics, management, or related fields. Extensive commercial experience in insurance broking, underwriting, and financial lines. Proven senior executive leadership and organisational change management experience. Personal Attributes : Integrity, transparency, and professional ethics. Effective communicator, negotiator, and influencer. Collaborative team player and constructive questioner.
