As Alliance Manager, Arts& Culture , you will lead a broad and vibrant portfoliothat includes library and lifelong learning programs, the historicPerth Town Hall venue, the City’s art and heritagecollections, cultural events, and place-based initiatives thatcelebrate and connect our communities.

In this key leadership role, youwill be instrumental in creating inclusive and engaging culturalexperiences for both residents and visitors. You’ll helpensure Perth remains a dynamic, creative, and connectedcity.

TheRole

Reporting to the General ManagerCommunity Development, you will :

  • Champion initiatives such asthe award winning Boorloo Heritage Festival and othersignificant cultural events.
  • Build collaborativepartnerships with internal and external stakeholders acrossgovernment, community and the cultural sector.
  • Promote Perth’s uniqueidentity and cultural heritage through innovation,participation and public engagement
  • Lead the development anddelivery of strategic and operational plans that promote andenhance the City’s arts, library, heritage and culturalprograms.
  • Provide visionary leadershipto a multi-disciplinary team, fostering a high-performance andvalues-driven culture.

  • Atertiary qualification in Arts, Culture, Heritage Management orrelated discipline.
  • Significant experiencein delivering high-impact cultural programs andservices.
  • Demonstratedleadership in managing multidisciplinary teams in a complexenvironment.
