We currently have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. Most projects are in Melbourne's northern and western suburbs; travel to sites including the South-East may be required.

We have expanded our excavator fleet, adding 14 new machines in the last year, ranging from 5t to 90t.

About The OpportunityReporting to the Site Supervisor, your key duties include, but are not limited to :

Prepare and position plant for operationLoad and unload equipment as requiredExcavate or scrape earth, rock, or rubble to the correct level and alignment using GPS equipmentUse GPS, including Topcon and Trimble systemsSelect, change, and operate attachments such as buckets and loading scoopsMonitor plant operation and make adjustments as neededWork from drawings and markers for essential services (e.g., electrical, gas), as directedFollow and ensure safe operating procedures at all timesAbout YouTo be considered, you need to demonstrate :

At least 2 years of land development and subdivision experience operating 20+ tonne excavatorsExperience with GPS, Topcon, or Trimble systemsDrainage experience (advantageous)All relevant tickets and licensesA current and valid driver's license and access to a vehicleFull Australian working rightsRokon offers a family-oriented, supportive workplace with training and career development.
