A large organisation based on the Sunshine Coast with a significant data portfolio, starting a new era for data and analytics within. Seeking a Business Analyst with data expertise on a part-time basis.

Your new role

The Business Analyst will be part of the Insights and Analytics Unit, responsible for data and analytics services, organisational performance analysis, data governance, knowledge management, load planning, forecasting, performance reporting, privacy, business intelligence, data lake, and data warehousing support. Responsibilities include managing complex business processes, systems, and structures; identifying requirements; implementing improvements; collaborating with stakeholders; and managing data integration for foundational technology upgrades.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation; ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in data warehouse and analytics platform development, preferably within higher education.
• Problem-solving abilities, capacity to manage multiple projects, and effective deadline management through collaborative relationships.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative project approaches.
