- About the role
We have a well-established PSM approach across our Pacific businesses, with strong ownership by operations leaders, however we continue striving for best practice management and recognise we can never relax our improvement focus. There is a significant opportunity to work with our recently acquired businesses in Europe in introducing and establishing effective PSM approaches, while the role will also engage with the partner companies of our parent organisation across Asia to share and support their adoption of PSM.

- Responsibilities
- Lead 5-yearly periodic hazard studies and six-monthly process safety lead scorecard reviews.
- Lead hazard studies for major capital projects.
- Provide specialist advice to operating sites as they implement process safety improvement actions and initiatives.
- Lead 1continuous improvement in management of Process Safety significant risks through an effective PSM strategy, framework, and improvement plans.
- Lead reporting on Process Safety lead and lag indicators
- Work with our European sites to progressively implement PSM approaches aligned with our Pacific standards.
- Engage with key stakeholders in our parent organisation partner companies in Asia to share and encourage adoption of best practice PSM.
- Skills & Experience
- Degree or above qualifications in chemistry, chemical engineering, engineering risk management, or related disciplines.
- At least 10 years' experience in operational roles in high-risk manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience in facilitating hazard studies, hazard analysis,and lead auditing.
- Advanced data analysis and insights reporting
- Strong system and process skills to incorporate Process Safety Management into wider business systems.
- Strong influencing skills to build relationships with all stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and prioritising skills.
- Strong leadership skills
