Locum FACEM - Kempsey, NSW

The Opportunity

The Kempsey District Hospital is a 81 bed level three facility with a level four 24-hour Emergency Department and a range of specialist services including, high dependency, general medicine, surgical day procedures, obstetrics, drug and alcohol, mental health, renal dialysis and rehabilitation. All shifts require you to be oncall for Cat 1&2 emergencies.

The Location

Set on the banks of the mighty Macleay River, Kempsey was originally established as a timber and dairy hub and retains many of its historic buildings as a vestige of its past. Home to two great Australian icons – country music legend Slim Dusty, and the Akubra hat, which has been made in the town for the past 50 years – Kempsey is surrounded by national parks and just a short drive from the beautiful beaches of the Macleay Valley Coast.

Essential Criteria

To be eligible for this role you must

• Have specialist AHPRA registration
• Have full working rights in Australia
