- The Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the WH&S Manager, you will maintain, co-ordinate and provide support for the Queensland region of a strong national company of 900 employees. This will involve :
Improving the culture of quality throughout the businessEnsuring safe and correct work practices at all timesEnsuring safe equipment and plant is provided and maintainedIncreasing site productivity through the implementation of WHS and QA proceduresEngaging with personnel across all levels of the business to prioritise GMS activitiesMaintaining and improving Project Web, Aconex and site documentation controlAssisting Project Managers to plan for quality, safety and environmental outcomes onprojects
Assisting with the implementation of Procore on all projectsEnsuring efficient site material handling and logisticsAssisting the WHS Manager in ensuring Subcontractors are compliant in the companies Rapid Induct SystemStreamlining work processes and increasing productivityConducting incident investigations and assisting with Return to Work processesPreparing Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and assist others in creating SWMSWhat you requireCertificate IV in Workplace Health & SafetyMinimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Construction, Building or Building Services IndustryCertification and / or training in all relevant WHS Safety and award Courses and Return To Work Training whilst not essential, would be desirableThe companyA privately owned company known for their strong culture of quality, excellence and innovation.
