Purpose of the Position

This trainee position is an entry level role, ideal for a person with a career aspiration in human resources and who is either participating in accredited training or desires to.

Duties Provide client and receptionist services; dealing with telephone and front counter enquiries and monitoring, screening and redirecting emails in the people and culture email inbox. Conduct routine administration tasks, as well as record and information management to support the People & Culture department. Stationery purchasing and distribution, ensuring stock is readily available. Support the wider team with project work. Willing to participate in professional development opportunities as they arise. Position may require on-the-job training and attending scheduled workshops. Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated ability to work effectively in culturally diverse teams within the social, political, and cultural environments of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, communities, and organisations. Dedicated to completing a Certificate IV Human Resources. A willingness to grasp new concepts, have a strong work ethic, and be punctual and reliable. Manage multiple priorities and conflicting timelines. The ability to read and implement Work Health and Safety principles and practices, and ability to comply with Institute WHS Policies and Procedures. #J-18808-Ljbffr
