The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Doctor to join our team as a Workers Compensation Specialist. This unique role offers a blend of remote and in-practice work, providing flexibility and a diverse working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients involved in workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents
  • Evaluate and manage both physical and psychological effects of injuries
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, psychologists, and occupational therapists
  • Prepare detailed medical reports for insurance and legal purposes
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to occupational medicine and injury management
  • Engage in telehealth consultations for remote patient care

Qualifications and Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Full registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Strong interest in occupational medicine and injury management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfort with technology for telehealth consultations
  • Empathetic approach to patient care

  • No prior experience in workers' compensation required
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the specialized field of occupational medicine
