Role Description / Criteria

St Columba's College Ltd is a Catholic secondary girls' school located in Essendon under the stewardship of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and conducted in the tradition of the Sisters of Charity. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the following casual contract position, commencing from 28 July 2025 :

Instrumental Music Specialist – Guitar

Casual position

Thursdays and Fridays

As the Instrumental Music Specialist – Guitar, you will be required to :

• Direct Rock Band
• Direct Guitar Ensemble
• Instruct individual guitar / bass guitar lessons

You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to girls' education and have previous experience in preparing students for AMEB and VCE exams. Knowledge and experience in a range of techniques and genres is desirable. VCE instruction and ensemble direction experience is advantageous. You must have a current Working With Children Check or be VIT registered. Current VMTA rates will apply.
