We have a fantastic opportunity for a Stock Control Officer to join our Crestmead team on a Fixed Term Contract for 6mths.
The Stock Controller will provide support of the State Forecasting & Replenishment functions across QLD. The Stock Controller is responsible for engaging with key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and escalations, building Organisational competency in F&R best practice and developing solutions to be a partner of choice.
Key Stakeholders will include; State Teams, Retailers, Category Team, Supplier / ISPs, Distribution Centres
What you'll do
Effectively manage inventory, by ensuring the correct amount of stock is purchased to meet demand whilst keeping the costs of holding stock to a minimum.
Liaise with key stakeholders to clear deleted, aged and short coded stock
Assist with planning of receipt of PO's into our distribution centres in line with operational requirements
Ensure speed to market of all new lines ranged by State Buyers.
Maximize income on purchasing against price increases and off invoice deals.
Maintain the weekly rebateable inventory in line with company directives.
Review slow moving lines and make deletion recommendations to Buyers.
What you'll bring
Experience in FMCG demand planning or Account Management and / or retail operations experience
Excellent communication both, written and verbal as well as strong Microsoft Excel skills
Collaboration and relationship building skills within a team environment
High attention to detail and can do attitude
Ability to organise and prioritise work, and be self sufficient ensuring daily tasks are completed.
