• The role
• Reporting into the Business Development and Sales Manager - Revenue as a Medical Liaison Officer, you act as the bridge between the business and healthcare professionals. You are responsible for delivering revenue growth and promoting the services of the Pathology and Imaging businesses to a defined area of local referrers. This is to be achieved through taking a targeted approach to the market, driving strategic marketing and sales initiatives, and managing new and existing referrers whilst communicating and collaborating with all internal stakeholders.
• Key responsibilities
• Manage and develop current referrer relationships, whilst delivering on current marketing strategies
• Act as the first point of contact for referrer matters with a customer-focused attitude
• Resolve and / or escalate referrer issues or complaints as they arise
• Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan and deliver revenue on growth strategies
• Increase revenue to assigned territory in line with the budget expectations
• Identify new customer opportunities and develop relationships to gain new referrers
• Increase referrer base in line with predefined KPIs
• Identify leasing opportunities in the market and communicate and work with BDM and other internal and external stakeholders to facilitate positive outcomes.
• Maintain ongoing competitor and market analysis
• Achieve revenue targets via the implementation of revenue growth strategies.
• Role Competencies
• Current Drivers Licence is essential
• Qualification in a Health Science, Business, Sales, or Medical Terminology is desirable
• Demonstrated sales experience with a history of achieving sales targets, preferably in healthcare
• Some knowledge in healthcare is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to referring practitioners
• Strong organisational and time management skills- .
