Job description
  • APS 6 & EL 2 Financial Data Governance Professional
  • Permanent, Full Time
  • Flexible and Hybrid Working Arrangements
  • Dynamic and exciting opportunity to join our Federal Government client to manage the day-to-day data governance and system activities providing expertise, advice, and training to the client's business areas. The role will lead, support, and drive financial business improvement initiatives whilst managing diverse specialist teams who play crucial roles in the delivery of day-to-day operations impacting stakeholders in Finance and across the department.
  • Qualifications and experience
  • Professional Accounting qualification such as CPA, CA or CIMA is highly desired
  • Knowledge of Commonwealth Government financial frameworks, data governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience in working with SAP ERP and MS365, notably Excel and SharePoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) and develop relationships and effectively communicate accounting and data governance concepts to non-finance staff.
  • Demonstrate your excellent attention to detail.
  • Working in a small team, be able to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Security clearance
