We are currently seeking

• to assist the Head Chef in providing a nutritious food service to a Youth Correction Facility based in
• Wacol._
• Key Responsibilities : _
• Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and provision of nutritious and varied meals
• Cutting, cooking and plating food for delivery
• Assist in the control of stores and provisions
• Maintain a hygienic, safe and secure working environment, including cleanliness of work areas and kitchen equipment
• Mandatory requirements : _
• A minimum of 12 months of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Knife Skills - minimum 12 months
• MANDATORY
• A working with children blue card
• MANDATORY
• applicants without this will not be considered for the role)
• Able to pass a Clear Criminal History check
• MANDATORY
• Ability to undertake repetitive heavy lifting
• A current "C" Class Driver's license
• High knowledge of Workplace and Safety Awareness
• Food Safety Certificate
