Health, Safety and Wellbeing Business Partner

Lead Safety Excellence Across Australia & New Zealand

Are you an experienced WHS professional ready to make a real impact? Join the Detmold Group as a Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) Business Partner and help drive strategic safety initiatives across our ANZ operations.

Based in Brompton, South Australia, you'll work closely with the Group HS&W Manager and a collaborative team to implement and enhance Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Injury Management (IM) systems, support self-insurance compliance, and foster a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and monitor WHS and Injury Management systems across ANZSupport compliance with self-insurance license requirements in South AustraliaConduct and review risk assessments, controls, and safety auditsCoach and mentor leaders to build HS&W capabilityReport on safety performance metrics and improvement initiativesLiaise with external contractors for security system managementDevelop and deliver local safety programs to prevent injury and reduce riskWhat You'll Bring

Tertiary qualification in WHS and / or a relevant discipline3–5 years' experience in an Advisor or Senior WHS / IM Operations roleProven ability to negotiate with and influence stakeholders at all levels to drive business outcomes while maintaining strong relationshipsIntermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsA coaching mindset with the ability to build capability in othersTech-savvy and quick to learn new systemWhy Join Us?
