Hudson is proud to partner with the Youth Coalition of the ACT to recruit a proactive, organised and people-focused Office Manager / Executive Assistant . This role is ideal for someone who thrives on multitasking, takes initiative, and can switch gears from administrative tasks to high-level executive support with ease.

The Youth Coalition is the peak body and leading policy advocate for youth affairs in the ACT. They’re a small, dynamic not-for-profit with a collaborative and impact-driven culture.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role that’s part heartbeat of the office, part strategic support to the CEO. You’ll manage everything from front desk operations to CEO calendar coordination, from booking a training room to prepping board papers. No two days are the same — and that’s what makes this role so rewarding.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage day-to-day office operations — reception, supplies, emails, room bookings
  • Coordinate venue hire, meetings, catering, and staff logistics
  • Maintain filing systems and assist with basic finance / admin tasks
  • Provide executive support to the CEO — calendar, email, priorities, and projects
  • Draft correspondence, take meeting minutes, prepare board documents
  • Liaise with diverse stakeholders — from youth workers to MLAs

What You’ll Bring

  • A strong sense of initiative and excellent attention to detail
  • A people-first mindset and the emotional intelligence to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Strong written communication and time management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Outlook desirable, but not a deal-breaker
  • Nice to have : Experience in not-for-profit, community, or health sectors; previous EA or secretariat experience; taking board / committee minutes
