As an inventory lead your responsibilities will include :
Inventory Management
- Actioning and managing all Floor to Door transactions, Click and Collects and Ship from store transactions in a timely manner
- Receive, inspect and unpack all incoming shipments, highlighting any discrepancies, damages and delays
- Process damaged stock on a timely basis according to company guidelines
- Accepting new deliveries and ensuring stock is unpacked, neat and tidy with correct labels attached
- Actioning and managing all consolidation requests in a timely manner
- Managing fortnightly stock rotation from 'home" back room to offsite (If the home has an offsite)
- Ensure that pathways and stock accessibility is clear from rubbish, leftover stock and cartons
- Responsible for preparation & execution for stocktake
- Reporting, investigating and managing stock discrepancies efficiently
- Be the first point of contact to collect stock from an offsite for a customer
- Enhance client experience by ensuring stock is easily accessible
- Work with management team to understand sales trends and arrange back of house stock to ensure trending items can be accessed in a timely manner
- Ensuring product labels are constantly maintained to reflect accurate stock position for functionality
- Develop and share ideas to increase stock efficiency
Customer Service
Assisting customers with merchandise (styling, sizing, product knowledge)Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the product and brand to provide advice and recommendations as neededResponsible for increasing the VIP customer baseResponsible for customer and VIP customer follows upsEnsure customers are well-informed on any current sales, rewards programs, and store return policyGeneral customer service duties such as : Greeting customers who enter the shop and fitting room serviceConverting customers into salesAchieving store budgets and KPIsResolving customer complaints in a professional mannerAnswering queries from customersDealing with customer refundsResponsible for security within the store and being on the lookout for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cardsUpdate customer records in the company database as requiredProcess payment by using cash register, credit card machines, and / or POS (point of sale) computer systemsProviding the Assistant Store Manager with customer updates, feedback, and reports.Effective communication with internal and external customersNurturing relationships with all VIP customers, ensuring they are kept educated in a friendly manner regarding all new deliveries, upcoming sale activity, and VIP events.We recognise the impact our team has on our success.
