An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and highly motivated individual to join the Rex Melbourne Airport Team in the role of a permanent part-time Customer Service / Lounge Officer.
This position reports to the Melbourne Airport Manager.
Position responsibilitiesAssist in the movement of passengers to and from the aircraft via company vehiclesAssist in the movement of crew and passengers to and from aircraft parking bays.Customer Service duties, including assistance with check-in, way finding and other assistance as required for Rex passengers.Provide assistance to special needs customers including passengers requiring a wheelchair, unaccompanied minors and elderly passengersBoarding assistance / Gate lounge duties.Assist with lounge requirements, including processing of guests, restocking of lounge supplies and cleaningAssist with purchasing Rex suppliesAssist with mail collection and bankingOther procedures and activities determined on a local basis where appropriateComply with company requirements set out in company's safety policy and standard operating procedures.Other duties as requested by the Airport ManagerSelection CriteriaPrevious customer service experience is essentialPrevious experience with customers with special needs is preferredGeneral understanding of airline operationsAbility to work under pressure and in a team environmentCurrent Drivers LicenceAbility to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) and Airside drivers licenceHigh level of fitnessHigh standard of professionalismImage and presentation of a high standardPlease note : _ Under the Rex Group _COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Policy_ all new customer-facing frontline employees must be fully vaccinated with an Australian Government Department of Health approved COVID-19 vaccine and provide evidence of vaccination and all other employees must follow the requirements as outlined in the Policy.To apply
