Job descriptionSelection Criteria for this position Legislative Completed Certificate III or Diploma in Children services qualification Current First Aid and Asthma / Anaphylaxis Certificates Current Working with Children Clearance check Current Child Protection training and understanding of Mandatory Reporting procedures. Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations Authorisation to work in Australia Professional Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ensure a high-quality early education program is implemented. Provide children with a warm and nurturing setting to thrive. Provide a safe physical environment whilst providing an engaging and meaningful play-based program. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a vibrant and cohesive culture. Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families and fellow educators Actively contribute to the educational program, observations and documentation, using a digital platform and informal opportunities to communicate regularly on our children's progress and experience with their families. Childcare Educator (Certificate III) to work Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm
Diploma qualified educator to work Monday to Friday 8 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm

The Children's Preschool is located in the Sydney Hills District. The service has a professional, kind and supportive team that provides quality education and care for 39 children aged between 3 - 6 years old.
There is an emphasis on creating a home-like environment where children feel like they belong and are encouraged to play, discover and learn. We have a close-knit and supportive community of educators, families and children.
