Senior Safety Advisor

Are you an experienced Safety Advisor with a strong background in delivering large-scale commercial construction projects?

Our client, a nationally recognised commercial builder with a robust pipeline of secured work, is seeking a Senior Safety Advisor to join their team on a landmark development based on the Gold Coast.

This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic, high-risk environments and are confident leading safety on major Tier 1 or Tier 2 projects involving tower cranes, structural steel, and large crews.

Your Responsibilities : Champion a proactive safety culture on large-scale, high-risk construction sites Conduct thorough site audits, inspections, and compliance checks Ensure alignment with WHS legislation and internal systems Maintain and manage all project safety documentation Lead safety briefings, toolbox talks, and induction processes Engage closely with site teams to identify and mitigate risks, particularly on complex structural operations What We're Looking For : Cert IV in WHS (minimum) Demonstrated experience in senior safety roles on $80M+ commercial projects Previous work with Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction firms Knowledge of high-risk work environments including tower cranes, formwork, and major structural installations Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to lead safety on high-pressure sites A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset What's on Offer : Competitive, above-industry salary package based on experience Company vehicle, laptop, and phone included Opportunity to work with a reputable national builder on high-profile projects How to Apply
