This role is based in Sydney.Key TasksDevelop and implement procurement strategies and policies, following corporate guidelines, business principles and internal controls.Manage supplier relationships and negotiate T&Cs where applicable.Suppliers' evaluation and selection, based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilitiesMonitor and evaluate supplier performance.Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and standards.Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve procurement strategies and with business objectives.Drive improvement initiatives in procurement processes to enhance efficiency and valueAdditional ad-hoc administrative tasks as necessary.The ideal candidate will haveRelevant tertiary qualification and a minimum of 3-years' experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role.Sound knowledge of procurement and contract processes and frameworksGood working knowledge of purchasing strategies along with compliance requirements.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems.Outstanding organisational skills including the ability to manage and priorities multiple concurrent tasks, meet deadlines and to work independently.
